FanDesk

Drive

FanDesk Drive gives you full access to your Google Drive files without leaving your workspace — browse, create, upload, organize, and link files to tasks and projects, all in one place.

Connecting Drive

Drive is available automatically when you connect your Google account:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Connect Google Account (if not already connected)
  3. Grant Drive access permissions
  4. Your Drive files appear immediately in FanDesk

For multiple Google accounts, connect each one separately. All accounts appear together in the Drive panel.

Multi-Account Support

With multiple connected Google accounts:

  • Files are labeled with their source account
  • Create new files in a specific account by selecting it in the account switcher
  • Sharing respects each account's permissions independently

Search

Find files quickly across all your Drive accounts:

  1. Click the search box in the Drive panel
  2. Type any part of the file name
  3. Results filter in real-time across all folders

For advanced search, use Google Drive's native search by clicking Open in Drive.

Permissions

Drive files use Google's native permission system. FanDesk lets you view and modify permissions without opening Drive separately:

  • View who has access to any file
  • Grant access by email with Viewer, Commenter, or Editor permission
  • Remove access from individuals
  • Generate shareable links with configurable permissions

See Sharing Files for full details.
